Creative courses event MA Nursing Our MA Nursing is a two-year programme accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. It is a fast-track way for students who already have a 2:1 degree to become a nurse. To be eligible for the programme, students will also need to show they have 800 hours of experience in a relevant field. There are three different pathways available: adult, children and young people and mental health. Discounts Automatic Early Acceptance Discount - £3,000 We are offering all students an automatic £3,000 discount, if they accept their place and pay their deposit by the deadline stated in their offer letter, which should be six weeks from receiving their offer. There is no need to submit a separate application for this discount, it will appear as a fee reduction when they enrol onto their course. The 18 month A level course comprises of approximately 18 weeks of teaching in the first year and approximately 30 weeks of teaching in the second year. These times also include assessment windows. During their first year, students are taught in separate classes from the other Year 12 students, in order to ‘fast track’ through their first year of studies. Students receive increased teaching hours during the first year (January to June) – normally up to 8 hours per subject per week - to allow them to cover all of the material required. The remaining course material is covered over three terms in the second year, where students join the other Year 13 classes. Students may choose three A Level subjects. In addition, they can complete the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), as an additional accredited qualification. The weekly timetable also includes PSHE and PE. International students with an IELTS score below 6.5 overall must join the IELTS course for their first academic year.
