The University of South Wales (USW) is one of Britain’s most exciting and ambitious universities, located in a WALES with three campuses in Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd.   • CITY: The University is based in South Wales, UK with campuses in Cardiff, Newport, and Pontypridd. Wales is a country but is part of the UK. South Wales has a vibrant city life, culture, nightlife, music festivals. USW Pontypridd has the largest campus and is made up of two sites: Treforest and Glyntaff. All campuses are a short train ride to Cardiff, the country’s capital. There are available student jobs in this city within the 20hrs limit in areas like hospitality, care, and agencies for parttime warehouse jobs.
  • TUITION: The average tuition for postgraduate international students is £14,500 with some discounts available and a convenient payment plan. This figure though is susceptible to further changes depending on course of study and year of entry. Most specialised courses usually have a slightly higher tuition fee than most
  • STANDARD OF LIVING: The average cost of a single room in south Wales is £400 per calendar month while the average cost of a 2-bedroom house or flat is £650 (this in turn is also dependant on whether it is furnished or unfurnished). With the current world change and rise in Inflation most areas have experienced an increase in price. For example, cost of housing, feeding and most basic amenities like electricity and gas prices have gone up.
  • BRIEF: With campuses in 3 great locations, you are almost guaranteed to get a job fast. It also has a strong international community with award winning staffs and facilities. One of the best features of university life at the University of South Wales is the rich international community as the international student community at USW makes up around 10% of the total student population. In addition, the university has student support services which is well renowned, and they provide a great online platform called Advice Zone Online. Here, students can chat live with staff who can advise them on a range of subjects, from accommodation to wellbeing.

    The minimum requirement is at least one of the following: a Successful completion of a recognised foundation programme or year one at a Nigerian university, OND, ND, HND, Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB), or Senior School Certificate with five or more B3 grades
